Stress is one of the important causative factors in making an individual obese. Faulty life style leads to increase in amount of stress, which in turn may lead to unhealthy eating habits and which results in obesity. Obesity makes an individual prone for heart diseases, diabetes. etc.


Objective: To provide scientific information about the impact of stress and various eating disorders resulting in obesity and other psychosomatic illnesses.

  2. Various reasons for obesity.
  3. Eating disorders- Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa.
  4. Treatment

  1. 10.00 a.m. to 10.10 a.m. - Speaker´s introduction.
  2. 10.10a.m. to 11.00 a.m. - Teaching.
  3. 11.00 a.m. to 11.15 a.m. - Tea break.
  4. 11.15 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. - Teaching and Question - Answer Session.
